1960-70's West Germany Fat lava vase
This is an artist original by Vaas Jaren, for the Strehla company in GDR(Germany democratic republic. The company existed post war from 1949-1990, jumping into the West Germany mcm pottery craze. This iconic piece is done in a golden yellow with browns, in the center slip lava art ovals where created and drip glaze placed inside. It is artistic and with the speckle brown gradient into the mustard tones at both the top and bottom. In mint condition as well, numbered on bottom.
